We believe in God the Father
Mighty maker of heaven and earth
And in Jesus His Son our Savior
Come of Spirit by virgin birth

He was crucified on Calvary
He was laid low in the grave
He descended to death forsaken
But He rose again that third day

He ascended into heaven
Where He sits at God’s right hand
And from there He’ll soon return to
Judge the living and the dead

We believe in the Holy Spirit
In the Holy catholic* church
In the union of believers
Through the ages, around the earth

We believe that we’re forgiven,
That we’ll rise up from the dead
And we’ll live with him for ever
